Christopher Herrera
Lead Resident - Urology
Chris graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, his pre-medical studies at Goucher College in 2017 and from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in 2022. He obtained at Masters in Health Policy Research at Penn in 2022 with a focus on financial toxicity in prostate cancer survivorship and surgical access to care. He has also done work as a lead patient navigator at the Center for Surgical Health and Puentes de Salud Liaison, providing access to underserved Latinx communities in surgical care. Chris looks forward to continuing involvement with Puentes de Salud as a resident and further engaging underserved communities in Philadelphia. Chris is excited to explore the fields within Urology.
